Our hope is to help the children of Brown County, feel like children again.

Love, support, mentorship, self-worth- these are birth-right emotions that each year, over 5,000 children in Brown County sadly never experience. That’s why Friends of Pals, Youth and Families supports children who have experienced trauma in some capacity: including possible exposure to drugs and alcohol, abuse, neglect, homelessness, chaotic living environments, incarcerated parents, domestic violence and mental illness.

Friends of Pals, Youth and Families is a registered 501 (c) (3) Charitable Organization. We serve Brown County Health and Human Services’ Children, Youth and Families Division which Includes:

  • Child Protection Services and supporting units including Foster Care, Family Support & the Brown County Family Center

  • Shelter Care

  • Pals, Parent Pals and other supporting programs

  • Youth Justice

  • Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit

As a charitable organization there are many ways to help us including: financially, through in-kind donations, volunteering or even by following the rewarding path to mentorship and foster care opportunities.
